The Grove Stage Owl.
Shambhala is one of the most established music festivals in Canada. Locally crafted, globally recognized—we are stoked to contribute a small creative piece to this extremely well run event.
If you’ve the pleasure of imbibing in the music and good vibes, then you may have seen our collaborative CNC design at the @grove_stage. Céline (Black Sheep's graphic designer that you know and love), Byron Whitlaw (the Director and genius behind the Grove Stage) and Colin Worobetz (the CNC master) worked together to create this wicked stage feature, inspired by Haida art.
Playful and dynamic in the stage lights, this intricate wooden owl levelled up this open air stage—bringing a strong sense of design into the natural forest landscape.
